Jocelyn Kao is an illustrator born in Taiwan, and base in Paris, France. She graduated from Academy of Art University, San Francisco in BFA Animation/Illustration. She worked as a concept artist in animation/game industry for her early career years. She moved to Paris, France to study fashion design at Istituto Marangoni Paris in fall 2013. And the same year, she started her studio "Jocelyn Kao Illustration" and became a freelance illustrator.
Her illustration includes fashion, life, travel, picture book, concept design, print and pattern. She likes to use watercolors, pen and ink, acrylic, and also mixed with digital medium. Her work has unique style with bold colors combination, chic women with beautiful details. She loves to travel and specially enjoy the historical cities and architectures.
